random visit to my sailboat … problems in paradise
Emily May 24th, 2009
I’m sure she has been washed before, but not by me … I flew down from Houston this morning after my daughters wedding last night and wanted to take care of some simple stuff during the day or so I’m in town. I decided to wash her and see how much better it will look without the hint of green and black mold that shows up on boats.
I found some marine boat wash inside so I’m buying a waterhose and getting to work … every little project feels like progress.
I noticed that the bilge pump never came on today, after testing everything I called Dad and we figured out the pump had died. Thankfully he helped me replace the pump and got the bilge pumped back out, need to get land power setup to help keep the batteries from running down.
Tomorrow is Memorial day, I will spend it with dad and then head home again Tuesday morning.
